Sceneca Residence opens for preview on Jan 1 as the first new launch of 2023

Joint developers MCC Singapore, Ekovest Development and The Place Holdings are excited to announce the upcoming preview of Sceneca Residence on Sunday, January 1, 2023. This 268-unit condominium forms part of the larger Sceneca mixed-use development, which includes the 20,000 sq ft Sceneca Square retail mall. The project is set to launch two weeks later, on Jan 14. Located at Tanah Merah Kechil Link, the development is directly connected to Tanah Merah MRT Station via a sheltered linkway. “Sceneca Square will provide Tanah Merah with a mall of its own,” said CEO of MCC Singapore, Tan Zhiyong. “The MRT access makes it the perfect spot for shoppers, visitors, commuters and nearby residents to meet, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the neighbourhood.” The site was purchased in a government land sale in November 2020 for $248.99 million ($930 psf per plot ratio). This is MCC Singapore’s third mixed-use development, following The Poiz Residences and The Poiz Centre, and One Bernam in Tanjong Pagar. The terracotta façade of Sceneca, designed by award-winning ADDP Architects, pays homage to the area’s name (“red soil” in Malay). The units range from one- to four-bedrooms, with sizes from 463 sq ft to 2,756 sq ft. Prices start from $958,000 ($2,069 psf). Amenities include a 50m lap pool, family lounge, clubhouse, function room and party pavilion. The mall features cafes, restaurants, shops and a supermarket. In addition, the event plaza can host pop-up stalls, bazaars and events. Sceneca Residence is conveniently located close to Changi City Point, Bedok Mall, Singapore Expo, Changi Business Park, Tampines Mall, Our Tampines Hub, Tampines Regional Centre, Changi Airport and other nearby attractions, as well as schools such as St Anthony’s Canossian Primary School, St Anthony’s Canossian Secondary School, Bedok Green Primary School, Anglican High School, Temasek Primary School, Temasek Secondary School, Temasek Junior College, Victoria Junior College, Singapore University of Technology and Design and United World College of South East Asia (East Campus).
